LaPlaya Beach Resort & Golf Club in Naples, FL, part of Noble House, seeks a Lead Bartender/Mixologist to design innovative cocktails and elevate guest experiences.

You will lead Baleen and Elements Bar, mentor the team, create seasonal menus, and ensure exceptional service and beverage standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years bartending experience in luxury resorts, fine dining, or upscale bar environments.
• Proven expertise in mixology, cocktail innovation, and beverage program development.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, mentor and train a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the bartending team to ensure consistent, high-quality service.
• Develop and launch seasonal cocktail menus inspired by Baleen’s beachfront setting.
• Provide attentive, personalized service to members, including bespoke cocktails and wine/spirit recommendations.
• Oversee bar operations, including inventory, ordering, and compliance with safety and liquor laws.
• Train new bartenders on mixology skills, service standards, POS systems, and resort policies.
• Uphold Noble House standards of hospitality, grooming, and professionalism at all times.
• Support resort events, wine dinners, and holiday activations with curated beverage programs.

The Job: Lead Bartender/Mixologist

Overview

This role goes beyond bartending—it is about creating memorable moments. The Lead Bartender / Mixologist will design and implement innovative cocktail menus, showcase beverage pairings for special events, and mentor bartenders to embody LaPlaya’s luxury brand. A strong focus will be placed on guest satisfaction, beverage innovation, and maintaining high operational standards.

Requirements

The Lead Bartender / Mixologist is responsible for leading and overseeing operations of the Baleen and Elements Bar, while supporting and mentoring the bartending team to ensure the exceptional service and hospitality standards for which LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort is known. This role combines leadership, creativity, and guest engagement to deliver elevated beverage experiences for Beach Club members and Resort Guests. The Lead Bartender / Mixologist is accountable for maintaining beverage quality, fostering a positive team environment, driving service excellence, and creating memorable guest experiences through innovative cocktail programs and personalized hospitality.
