Restaurant Associates seeks a full-time Head Bartender for our New York location at Madison Ave. The ideal candidate has prior fine dining experience and open availability to support a dynamic service schedule.

The role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining bar stock, and upholding liquor regulations with courteous guest service. Responsibilities include setting up bars, stocking supplies, cash handling, and ensuring cleanliness and presentation of the bar.

Qualifications

• Previous fine dining experience is required.
• Open availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up assigned bars; stocks beer, wine, spirits, glassware, garnishes and condiments.
• Maintains stock and prepares garnishes and perishables to ensure quality.
• Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
• Takes and processes drink orders; mixes and presents drinks using recipes.
• Checks guests' IDs; enforces liquor laws.
• Receives cash, makes change, and verifies charges.
• Locks up and stores products and cash; secures bank.
• Performs cleaning tasks to meet health and safety standards.
• Arranges bottles and glasses for an attractive display; washes stemware.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
