Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Plantsville, CT seeks an experienced Lead Bartender to oversee guest-facing operations in the Mountain Room. This role leads the Mountain Room Crew and bartenders to ensure hospitality, efficient service flow, and a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bartending experience, including private events or banquets
• Strong knowledge of customer service and bar operations
• TIPS certification required or willingness to obtain on hire
• Able to work in a high-energy environment and maintain professionalism

Responsibilities

• Assist with overseeing day-to-day operations behind the bar
• Order and manage bar inventory with guidance from the Food & Beverage Director
• Train bartenders and bar staff on policies, procedures, and service standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked bar workspace
• Ensure bar supplies, garnishes, and products are stocked and organized
• Lead and support the Front-of-House team during events such as weddings and private parties
• Provide hands-on bartending service during regular operations and private events
• Complete required trainings as assigned by mountain leadership
• Accurately record all hours worked and resolve discrepancies before pay period end
• Other duties as assigned by mountain leadership
