Job summary

Legends Global at the Long Beach Amphitheater seeks a Bartender Lead to guide the bartending team, develop seasonal cocktails, and maintain cost controls while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will oversee bar operations on-site, mentor staff, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards, aiming to elevate the club culture and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of bartending experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in menu development and crafting signature cocktails.
• Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.
• Extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and beverages, including production processes, regions, and tasting notes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the bartending team to ensure consistent service excellence and adherence to standards.
• Assist with training and mentoring bartenders to foster skill development and cohesive team environment.
• Create and maintain a seasonal cocktail menu aligned with club culture and member preferences.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stock rotation to control costs and minimize waste.
• Ensure bar cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide an engaging and hospitable atmosphere with expert knowledge on cocktails, spirits, beer and wine.
• Uphold all standards for the proper service of alcohol as set forth by Legends Hospitality.
