Job summary

Luminary Hotel & Co is seeking a Lead Bartender to oversee daily bar operations and deliver guest-focused beverage service in a fast-paced setting. You’ll lead by example, train staff, manage inventory, and ensure recipes and safety standards are followed to maintain exceptional quality.

Responsibilities include crafting cocktails, maintaining bar cleanliness, handling payments, and collaborating with servers and culinary teams to ensure seamless service and a welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more bartending experience required.
• General knowledge of cocktail crafting and mixology fundamentals.
• Excellent customer service and cash handling skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to use technology e.g. computer, POS, etc.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations and lead by example behind the bar.
• Train, coach, and support bar staff to uphold service standards.
• Develop and execute cocktail recipes for bar menus.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organization; manage weekly deep-cleaning projects.
• Manage bar inventory and par levels; participate in monthly counts.
• Take orders and prepare beverages per standard recipes and responsible service.
• Interact with guests to provide recommendations and resolve concerns.
• Collaborate with servers and culinary staff to ensure seamless service.
