Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Bartender to oversee and ensure a positive customer experience and optimize the bar's performance. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry, and the ability to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Train and supervise bar staff ensuring high levels of customer service and professionalism
  • Manage daily operations of the bar including staffing, product offering and customer service
  • Implement strategies to optimize bar performance and profitability
  • Ensure the bar adheres to all licensing, hygiene, health and safety regulations
  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of products
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role with the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership and customer service skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of industry trends and ability to implement popular bar concepts
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Food Handlers and TIPS certification
  • Micros Simphony experience is a plus

Experience

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry. Bar setting is highly desirable.
