Job Summary
This position at Tipsy Putt is a supervisory front-of-house role with wide-ranging responsibilities to provide an extraordinary guest and employee experience.
General Responsibilities
- Greet, welcome, and perform ID checks for our guests.
- Provide an overview of our beers on tap and answer guest questions.
- Pour and serve beer while ensuring responsible serving practices.
- Maintain a clean environment for guests by bussing tables, chairs, and glassware, sweeping, mopping, and general cleaning throughout the shift.
- Conduct frequent restroom checks.
- Stay informed about current and future promotions within the pub.
- Accurately ring up sales of drinks, games, and merchandise through the POS system.
- Promote events during big events near the pub.
- Full-time or part-time positions available.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Operate opening and closing checklists.
- Manage POS system with responsibilities such as comps, voids, and promotions.
- Facilitate meal breaks and ten-minute breaks effectively.
- Utilize radio communication.
- Communicate promotional information and weekly operations notes to FOH staff.
- Edit menus and menu boards to reflect product changes.
- Assist in event set-up and breakdown.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience with the Toast POS system.
- Knowledge and passion for craft beer.
- Ability to work in a team and contribute positively.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk and stand for 100% of the shift.
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Operate POS system/Toast.
- Use an iPad and various applications.
- Reach, bend, stoop, wipe, and lift up to 50 pounds.
