Job summary

Vail Resorts in Breckenridge, CO is seeking a Lead Bartender for the Winter Seasonal 2026/2027, with full-time hours. You will craft cocktails, serve wines and beer, and deliver an Experience of a Lifetime by living our core values.

Join us to build guest connections, manage shifts, and ensure bar readiness. 3+ years of bartending, 21+, and ability to stand long hours and lift up to 50 pounds are required. Housing available.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Make connections with guests and co-workers.
  • Share our passion for the mountains during service.
  • Follow leadership guidelines during daily pre-shift meetings.
  • Create hot and cold beverages to specifications.
  • Prepare the bar for successful operation throughout the shift.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workstation.
  • Ski/Snowboard out after work (optional, location dependent).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications
  • Starting Wage: $12.14/hr - $16.79/hr
    • If hired into a tipped position, guaranteed to make a minimum of $20/hour, inclusive of tips.
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
  • Housing Availability: Yes

Job Requirements
  • 3+ years of Bartending experience.
  • Desire to learn and grow.
  • Must be 21 or over.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, to bend, lift, and carry objects up to 50 pounds.

The expected pay range is $12.14/hr - $16.79/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
