Overview

Redmont Hotel offers a part‑time bartender position (PM shift 3 pm‑11 pm) within the Food & Beverage team, providing quality guest service and crafting cocktails. The role is located in Birmingham and managed by Spire Hospitality, LLC.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide guests with exceptional service through genuine engagement and attentiveness.
• Prepare beverage orders, generate checks, and handle payments efficiently.
• Maintain daily organization of the bar, ensuring products are stocked and readily accessible.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages.
• Reduce spoilage and waste through efficient productivity methods.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all refrigeration, storage, and work areas.
• Support other F&B staff as needed as the lead bartender.

Physical Demands

• Ability to kneel, stoop, pull, grasp, lift and carry up to 50–75 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk in confined space for entire shift.
• Manual dexterity to use and operate food and beverage equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years bartender experience at a similar size operation; hotel experience preferred.
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required.
• Food Handlers Certification required.
• Completion of bartending school or mixology certification preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

• Alcohol Service certification preferred.
