Qualifications

• Previous Barista experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Learn all menu items and up-selling techniques.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions.
• Ability to resolve conflict and ensure accurate check totals.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand menus and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff in the manager's absence and train new team members.
• Provide quality beverages consistently, preparing Starbucks beverages to standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing products.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and handle accommodations as needed.
• Balance house bank and manage cash handling per guidelines.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health standards.
