Job Description:

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for efficiently directing and supervising all Coffee Shop associates to provide high-quality customer service, achieve sales and profit goals, and ensure that work shifts contribute to the store’s financial well-being. Complete all other duties as assigned promptly.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Order and maintain inventory to ensure freshness, quality, and turnover.
  • Verify receivables for amount, quality, count or weight, and condition; store appropriately.
  • Brew, mix, and blend beverages according to set standards.
  • Handle spoiled or damaged products per guidelines.
  • Train others in departmental activities and suggestive selling techniques.
  • Manage the selection, scheduling, and supervision of staff to meet or exceed productivity levels.
  • Familiarize with all products in the department; understand differences in price, taste, and preparation.
  • Prepare food items following procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Proficiency in computer use (email, spreadsheets, etc.).
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
  • Accounting and bookkeeping skills.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial data.
  • Experience in developing and managing budgets.
  • Skills in delegating, directing, and implementing tasks.
  • Knowledge of suggestive selling and product details.
  • Attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands include lifting/moving up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally, standing and walking for extended periods, and performing bending, stooping, twisting, and turning. The environment may vary in temperature and noise levels, with exposure to outside weather conditions. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
