Description
POSITION PURPOSE: To greet guests and maintain a courteous and efficient operation of Starbucks to ensure guest satisfaction.
Essential Functions
- Perform all Barista duties.
- Supervise staff in manager's absence.
- Assist with ongoing training to ensure standards are met.
- Interact positively with customers, promote outlet services, resolve problems, and organize PR setups as specified by Starbucks.
- Monitor beverage quality and service standards, verify appearance and taste, and provide guidance for improvements.
- Maintain outlet profitability by controlling payroll and equipment costs, managing inventory, and ordering supplies.
- Use POS system to charge customers, track revenue, and ensure timely beverage service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all outlet areas.
- Maintain professional appearance, demeanor, and ethics.
- Ensure work area cleanliness and condition.
- Administer sales promotion and employee incentive programs.
- Stay informed about MAC calendar and city events.
- Coordinate activities of associates and departmental responsibilities.
- Support hotel policies and procedures.
- Maintain house bank.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend English, including guest requests, memos, and reservations.
- Supervise staff professionally to ensure guest satisfaction according to Marcus standards.
- Effectively handle customer complaints with empathy and proactive solutions.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Previous restaurant and hospitality experience preferred.
