Description

POSITION PURPOSE: To greet guests and maintain a courteous and efficient operation of Starbucks to ensure guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions
  1. Perform all Barista duties.
  2. Supervise staff in manager's absence.
  3. Assist with ongoing training to ensure standards are met.
  4. Interact positively with customers, promote outlet services, resolve problems, and organize PR setups as specified by Starbucks.
  5. Monitor beverage quality and service standards, verify appearance and taste, and provide guidance for improvements.
  6. Maintain outlet profitability by controlling payroll and equipment costs, managing inventory, and ordering supplies.
  7. Use POS system to charge customers, track revenue, and ensure timely beverage service.
  8. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all outlet areas.
  9. Maintain professional appearance, demeanor, and ethics.
  10. Ensure work area cleanliness and condition.
  11. Administer sales promotion and employee incentive programs.
  12. Stay informed about MAC calendar and city events.
  13. Coordinate activities of associates and departmental responsibilities.
  14. Support hotel policies and procedures.
  15. Maintain house bank.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
  1. Ability to read and comprehend English, including guest requests, memos, and reservations.
  2. Supervise staff professionally to ensure guest satisfaction according to Marcus standards.
  3. Effectively handle customer complaints with empathy and proactive solutions.
  4. High school diploma preferred.
  5. Previous restaurant and hospitality experience preferred.
