Job summary

Thuma is seeking a Lead Barista for our San Francisco cafe. You will lead daily cafe operations, mentor baristas, ensure exceptional coffee quality, and collaborate with the retail team to deliver excellent service. This role requires in-person presence, weekend availability, and a customer-centric, team-focused approach.

You will manage inventory, uphold health and safety standards, and help develop new coffee offerings and seasonal promotions to delight guests and support store goals.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as Lead Barista or similar role in a cafe.
  • Ability to work in-person at the Thuma Cafe in San Francisco.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and enjoy interacting with others.
  • Extensive knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso, and latte art.

What You’ll Need:

$21 - $25 an hour
