Birdie’s Barroom & Kitchen in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Lead Barista to join our front-of-house team. This full-time role requires strong communication, initiative, and the ability to work swiftly with a friendly demeanor. You will train staff, greet customers, suggest drinks, and handle orders and payments in a fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibilities

• Open and closing the store


• Act as lead trainer for the FOH Cafe team


• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide customer feedback


• Educate customers on the drinks menu, make recommendations based on customer preferences, and upsell specials


• Take customer orders and payments, operate tills and card machines, and handle cash and credit card payments


• Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following recipes and techniques


• Prepare and serve food items, such as baked goods and pastries


• Clean and sanitize work areas, seating areas, equipment, and utensils
