Sodexo at New York Presbyterian Queens is seeking a Lead Barista to craft hand-made beverages and foods, greet customers, take orders, and handle cash. This full-time role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and customer focus, with potential Starbucks Barista certification requirements.

You will operate coffee machines, keep work areas spotless, and participate in shifts including mornings and afternoons/evenings, with some weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, food preparation, sanitation and inventory control preferred.
• Starbucks Barista certification may be required at some locations.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and able to maintain a healthy/safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, and craft hot and cold beverages.
• Record sales and handle cash, cards, and digital payments.
• Clean coffee machines and maintain cleanliness of all work areas.
• Attend shifts on time and support team with duties as needed.
• Follow client requirements and adapt to account-specific duties.
