Job summary

Radisson Hotel Corning is seeking a Lead Banquet Server to guide our banquet team during weddings, corporate events, and special functions. You will train servers, ensure flawless event setup, and deliver polished service that leaves guests impressed.

In this role you’ll oversee the full serving process from setup through cleanup, handle guest requests with ease, and coordinate with front desk, kitchen, and sales teams. AV/IT setup and Micros entry are also part of the daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Leading and motivating the banquet team to deliver polished, high-quality service
• Confirming event spaces are set up perfectly — table settings, decor, linens, glassware, and more
• Welcoming guests, ensuring they're comfortable, and handling special requests with ease
• Overseeing the full serving process from setup through cleanup
• Training and mentoring servers, and jumping in to resolve issues on the fly
• Coordinating with the Banquet Manager and other departments — front desk, kitchen, sales — to keep events running smoothly
• Setting up and operating AV/IT equipment for events
• Accurately entering charges into Micros
