Job summary

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking a skilled Hourly Assistant Manager for part-time (and full-time) roles in Mesa, AZ. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional service, manage scheduling and operations, and ensure quality from scratch-baked breads, pastries, soups, salads and sandwiches.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of leadership in fast-paced food service, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to food safety.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of fast paced restaurant/retail leadership experience
• Compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards
• Experience with meeting operational goals, & thinking beyond what has already been done to create a better experience for teams & customers
• Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation is required
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment, ingredients, and supplies
