Job summary

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe in Gilbert, AZ is hiring for a full or part-time Hourly Assistant Manager who shares a passion for food quality, service, and community. You will lead a dynamic team delivering from-scratch baked breads, pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches using honest ingredients.

The role requires at least 1 year of fast-paced restaurant/retail leadership, compliance with local/state/federal food-safety rules, and the ability to motivate and develop teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of fast paced restaurant/retail leadership experience.
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards.
• Experience with meeting operational goals, & thinking beyond what has already been done to create a better experience for teams & customers.
• Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment, ingredients, and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dynamic team delivering from-scratch baked bread & pastries to soups, salads, & sandwiches made with honest ingredients.
