Job summary

Harmons Grocery in Midvale, UT is seeking a Bakery Associate to support daily bakery operations. You will help manage production levels, ensure product quality and freshness, and maintain proper inventory and signage. Qualifications

• Experience mixing, proofing and baking quickly with quality results.
• Ability to read and follow a recipe.
• Basic math skills used to half or double recipes.
• Knowledge of mixing, cooking, baking, and assembling procedures for sweet goods.
• Ability to interpret policies and procedures.
• Excellent organization and planning skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to accept constructive feedback and be accountable for team success.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

$17.28 to $20.57 PER HOUR

GENERAL PURPOSE:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Shares accountability with Bakery Manager for production levels, product assortment, product inventory levels and product quality
• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
• Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the bakery provides
• Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product rotation and inventory levels for the bakery
• Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
• Ensures the bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
• Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
• Follows production sheets and adheres to product rotation to ensure appropriate levels of Harmons fresh baked products

MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs other job-related duties as assigned .
