Job summary

FMNE Insurance is seeking a Senior Software Developer (Backend) to join our IT team. The role focuses on leading design, development, and maintenance on the Guidewire Cloud platform using Java/Gosu, Visual Studio, Angular, .NET, HTML5, and JavaScript.

You will mentor developers and collaborate with business analysts, QA, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure software aligned with business goals. The position promotes a hybrid work model, with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Extensive Guidewire and Java/Gosu experience.
• Guidewire Cloud Developer Certification is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, and maintenance on the Guidewire Cloud platform.
• Develop Gosu-based business rules, data models, and integrations.
• Provide technical leadership to project stakeholders, business analysts, and QA teams.
• Ensure security, performance, and enterprise architecture standards are met.
• Mentor Software Developers and support Agile/Scrum processes.
