Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Java, Spring, multi-threading, data caching, and NoSQL technology.
• 2+ years of experience designing, developing and deploying large-scale, low-latency, cloud-based, stateless REST APIs/internet services for web applications.
• JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, SAML, and WSDL expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with SOLR and ElasticSearch.
• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Experience dealing with integration challenges across architecture, design, infrastructure and scale.
• Experience with MongoDB.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Strong knowledge of concurrency, scalability and fault-tolerant designs.
• Experience building high-visibility and scalable backend services.
• Willingness to wear multiple hats and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams on technical design, work estimation, and feature development (interfaces, middleware, databases, and front-end tech).
• Maintain tools and templates for every SaaS release/update.
• Ensure applications are included in the CI/CD pipeline for continuous delivery.
• Contribute ideas to improve team efficiency, operations and code quality.
• Engage in Cloud Computing/SaaS communities to stay connected with providers.
• Develop innovative backend solutions using state-of-the-art architectures and large data sets.
