Job summary

Fridge Tech is seeking a Lead Back End Engineer (SE IV) to drive high-quality software for our fridge hardware integration. You will own projects end-to-end, shape architecture, and mentor peers while advancing AI-assisted coding standards.

You will work on both greenfield and legacy systems, pushing the boundaries of the AI tooling landscape and partnering with Product to align technical efforts with business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong experience with Go or equivalent languages (Java, C++, C#, TS/Nodejs, Python)
• Experience integrating with hardware and firmware in Linux-based envs
• Experience shaping LLM-assisted development approaches
• Comfortable with legacy and greenfield projects; eager to raise standards

Responsibilities

• Own projects end-to-end from design through deployment
• Lead architecture discussions and mentor team members
• Review PRs and drive AI tooling strategy
• Refactor and modernize services across greenfield and legacy systems
• Collaborate with Product to align with business goals
