Job summary

Ad Vital, based in Houston, TX, seeks a Lead Software Development Engineer to drive the technical vision of our core platform and oversee backend services, APIs, and integrations powering omni-channel communications and automated workflows.

You will mentor engineers, set coding standards, and collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success to deliver robust features, improve processes, and ensure performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong CS foundation in algorithms, data structures, and systems design.
• Hands-on backend web development experience with scalable, secure web apps.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, Node.js, or similar with solid OOP skills.
• Experience leading projects, conducting code reviews, and mentoring teammates.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and automated testing practices.
• Ability to work on-site in Webster, TX and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in CRM, marketing automation, healthcare, or EMR integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable backend services, APIs, and integrations powering omni-channel messaging, automation, and analytics.
• Write high-quality code and review contributions from other engineers to ensure reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to translate business requirements into robust features.
