Job summary

Aprio is seeking a Lead Engineer within Risk Advisory and Assurance to strengthen client security and compliance programs. You will work as a Microsoft Security Engineer, leveraging Defender XDR, Purview, and Azure tools to shape security postures for public and private sector clients.

The role emphasizes consulting with clients, developing security strategies, and delivering measurable security improvements. A strong background in Azure security and relevant certifications is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of consulting experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on design and implementation of Microsoft Azure security tools.
• Active certifications (AZ-500, AZ-305, SC-...) required or within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted consultant to clients on security and compliance challenges.
• Be the go-to Microsoft security expert on a team.
• Architect and implement Zero Trust strategies and XDR deployments.
• Develop security policies and procedures.
• Support workshops, architecture sessions, and demos.
