As a Lead Cloud Consultant, you will be responsible for managing a team of up to 10 consultants and providing strategic guidance and technical expertise in the deployment and management of Microsoft Azure solutions. Your primary focus will be on overseeing projects, coordinating resources, ensuring successful implementation and delivery of Azure based solutions to clients, and collaborating with the Head of Cloud to align team utilization and strategic goals.

What You'll Be Doing...

Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of up to 10 Azure consultants, including performance management, mentoring, and career development.
Assign project tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring optimal resource utilization and workload distribution.
Collaborate with the Head of Cloud to align team utilization with project demands and strategic goals.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Project Management:
Oversee multiple Azure projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Develop project plans, define deliverables, and allocate resources effectively to achieve project goals.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively address any issues or bottlenecks that may arise.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and providing regular project updates.
Technical Expertise:
Provide expert guidance and architectural recommendations to clients regarding Azure services and solutions.
Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of Azure-based infrastructure, applications, and services.
Stay up to date with the latest Azure technologies and trends, and evaluate their suitability for client projects.
Conduct technical assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and optimization in Azure environments.
Client Relationship Management:
Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into Azure solutions.
Conduct workshops, presentations, and training sessions to educate clients on Azure capabilities and best practices.
Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling Azure services.
Quality Assurance and Governance:
Ensure adherence to industry best practices, compliance standards, and security guidelines in Azure implementations.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of projects to ensure quality, performance, and scalability of Azure solutions.
Establish and enforce governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to maintain consistency and reliability across projects.
Collaboration with Cloud Solution Area Lead:
Collaborate with the Cloud Solution Area Lead to align team utilization with project demands, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Provide regular updates on project status, team performance, and upcoming resource requirements.
Contribute to the development of cloud strategies, service offerings, and best practices in collaboration with the Cloud Solution Area Lead.

What We Need From You...

Extensive experience in Microsoft Azure, including proficiency in Azure infrastructure, platform, and services.
Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully delivering Azure projects.
Previous experience in leading and managing a team of consultants or technical professionals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
Relevant Expert level certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert are preferred.
Knowledge of cloud migration strategies, DevOps practices, and automation tools is a plus.
