Responsibilities:

Architecture Design: Design and develop robust and scalable cloud architectures leveraging Azure services to meet business requirements.
Cloud Migration and Optimization: Lead cloud migration initiatives and optimize existing Azure environments for cost, performance, and reliability.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and maintain infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
Integration with Cloud Services: Integrate various Azure services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions) into cohesive and efficient solutions.
Observability and Monitoring: Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure-native tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights.
Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud environments adhere to industry security standards and compliance requirements, implementing Azure Policy, RBAC, encryption and network security measures.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, data engineers, and application developers, to deliver cloud solutions.
Innovation and Scalability: Stay updated with the latest Azure features and recommend innovative approaches to enhance scalability and performance.

Required Skills and Experience:

Azure Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Blob Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Event Grid.
Infrastructure Automation: Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
Cloud Security: Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory (AAD), NSG, Azure Firewall, and encryption in Azure.
Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, PowerShell or other programming languages for automation and scripting.
Data Engineering Knowledge: Familiarity with data pipelines and services like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Azure Synapse Analytics.
Monitoring and Observability: Hands-on experience with Azure monitoring tools and best practices.
Problem-solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate).
Experience with container orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud strategies using tools like Azure Arc.
Exposure to AI/ML services like Azure Machine Learning.
