Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a highly skilled Avionics System Integrator - Payloads to join the New Glenn Avionics team at Space Coast, FL. You will lead avionics configuration and integration for multiple customer payloads with the New Glenn launch vehicle, and develop system requirements to enable quick-turn payload integration.

You will support design reviews, communicate technical information to internal and external stakeholders, and coordinate across disciplines to ensure successful test execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace engineering or related technical field.
• 3+ years of hands-on electrical systems integration experience.
• Experience with systems engineering practices (formal or informal).
• Experience working with multi-discipline, cross-functional groups to test and deploy integrated electrical systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single threaded avionics leader responsible for avionics configuration definition and integration of multiple customer payloads with the New Glenn launch vehicle.
• Develop avionics systems engineering requirements for customer payload integration and streamline processes for quick-turn integration.
• Support customer design reviews and present technical information to internal and external customers.
• Represent avionics during mission proposal and scope estimation efforts.
• Integrate customer hardware into the New Glenn HIL test platform and serve as Test Lead for integrated testing.
• Own verification and validation of customer electrical interface requirements during Integrated Vehicle Testing.
