Job summary

JT4 LLC in Las Vegas seeks an Avionics Systems Integration Engineer VI to serve as the lead technical integrator coordinating multi-disciplinary activities for aircraft airworthiness and modification packages. You will review contractor packages and ensure compliance with airworthiness standards, engineering criteria, and program objectives.

The role requires senior leadership, strong communication, and the ability to guide verification, design reviews, and risk-mitigation across the program

Qualifications

• Master of Science in engineering with 16 years of related experience, or a PhD in engineering with 12 years of related experience.
• Ability to direct senior technical personnel in R&D, integration, and sustainment of complex systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for customer briefings and reports.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and computer-based engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems integration across electrical, avionics, structures, propulsion, flight controls, software, and safety.
• Lead development and review of engineering packages for aircraft modifications and ISR payloads.
• Conduct peer reviews of analyses, drawings, ICDs, and installation packages.
• Evaluate impacts on performance, safety, maintainability, and airworthiness.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary reviews ensuring consistency before Government approval.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices across Airworthiness.
