Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Propulsion & Mechanical Systems Integration Engineer in the United States to lead propulsion and mechanical system integration across multiple military aircraft platforms. You will guide technical reviews, assess integration impacts, and coordinate with government stakeholders to ensure airworthiness and mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering from an ABET-accredited program with extensive related experience.
• MS or PhD holders should have substantial related experience in propulsion/mechanical systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical reviews of propulsion and mechanical system modifications.
• Evaluate bleed-air, cooling, thermal management, vibration, and operability impacts of aircraft modifications.
• Review mechanical interfaces (hydraulics, landing gear, brakes, actuators, fuel systems, ECS, pneumatics, APUs).
• Assess propulsion integration impacts on performance, margins, maintainability, reliability, and supportability.
• Coordinate with OEM data, engineering authorities, and government stakeholders.
