Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in system design, test planning, and validation.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience with avionics hardware, power supplies, and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, integration, and testing of avionics systems for the Winnebago Spaceship.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define requirements.
• Develop electrical architecture, diagrams, and budgets for power, telemetry, and mass predictions.
• Perform failure analysis and develop mitigation plans including FDIR strategies.
• Lead verification plans for flight and HITL hardware and ensure readiness for launch and reentry.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
