Job summary

MROH in California is seeking a Lead Avionics Mechanic to oversee maintenance teams on Boeing transport category aircraft. You will assign, review and approve work, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures.

You will mentor mechanics, manage daily lead sheets, and maintain turnover and maintenance records in the Repair Station environment. A strong background in avionics and hands-on leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years maintenance experience on Boeing transport category aircraft.
• Prefer 2+ years as a lead maintenance mechanic or similar supervisory role on Boeing transport category aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Assign, assist, direct and approve the work of employees in AMT-Avionics or lower classification.
• Assess and issue routine and non-routine job cards to Mechanics and ensure return after shift.
• Complete and update daily Lead assignment sheets.
• Ensure maintenance entries on repair forms and work orders are executed by supervised staff.
• Maintain a work turnover report using NSA-MF-22.
• Represent the work of supervised employees by signing records per FAA regulations.
• Proactively identify problems and initiate timely resolution, following through to completion.
• Enforce adherence to all (RII) procedures.
