Flightstar Aircraft Services in California seeks a Lead Aircraft Mechanic with Boeing transport category experience to supervise AMT-Avionics staff and ensure quality and regulatory compliance. You will direct workloads, coordinate with planners, and maintain accurate records for shift operations.

The role requires hands-on avionics maintenance leadership, strong problem-solving, and strict adherence to Repair Station and QA manuals. On-site position with exposure to varied climates and noise.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years maintenance experience on Boeing transport category aircraft.
• Prefer at least 2 years’ experience as a lead maintenance mechanic or similar supervisory role on Boeing transport category aircraft.

Responsabilités

• Assign, direct and approve the work of employees in AMT-Avionics or lower.
• Assess and coordinate with Planners to issue routine and non-routine job cards to Mechanics.
• Complete and update daily Lead assignment sheets.
• Ensure maintenance entries on forms and work orders are completed by supervised employees.
• Maintain a work turnover report using NSA-MF-22.
• Sign appropriate work records for work completed per regulations.
• Identify problems and causes; initiate timely resolution and follow-through.
• Ensure supervised employees observe all RII procedures.
• Perform all responsibilities of an Avionics Mechanic.
• Read and apply Repair Station & Quality Control Manuals for lead mechanics and all supervised roles.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
