Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced Avionics Integrator to join the Lunar Permanence team. The role focuses on integrating avionics subsystems for the Crewed Lander, leading cross-functional trade studies, validation planning, and interface definition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree and professional-level knowledge.
• 12+ years in avionics systems lifecycle development.
• Experience integrating spacecraft subsystems (avionics, software, structures, GNC, power).
• Ability to define and manage communication protocols.
• Experience with electrical interfaces (Serial Bus, Ethernet, sensors).
• Strong systems engineering practices and safety-critical systems experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead avionics integration with peer subsystems across disciplines.
• Negotiate stakeholder interests to optimize spacecraft design.
• Lead architecture studies, verification planning, and integration operations.
• Manage avionics requirements development, definition, and maturity.
• Develop ICDs and data/communication budgets.
• Create and maintain electrical architecture diagrams.
• Coordinate constraints and changes across subsystems.
• Develop tool support for vehicle electrical configuration.
