Job summary

Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking an experienced Avionics Shop Supervisor I to lead avionics installations, preventive maintenance, and alterations under FAA-certified oversight at our Van Nuys facility. You will supervise crews, validate wiring diagrams, and ensure on-time completion within budget.

The role requires 8+ years in avionics, including leadership, and a solid track record with business jets. Eligible for our comprehensive benefits plan and a $3,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in avionics installations, including at least 1 year as Lead Technician on business jets (Gulfstream, Bombardier, Dassault/Falcon).
• Must have comprehensive understanding of avionics and electrical systems, testing with avionics test equipment and service bulletins.

Responsibilities

• Supervise avionics installation projects and assist with pre-planning, manpower allocation, and system check-out.
• Ensure compliance with FARs and repair station procedures; manage overtime and costs to meet schedules.
• Provide shift turnover and guidance to maintain safety, quality, and customer service.
