Job summary

Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking an Avionics Shop Supervisor I responsible for supervising avionics installations, preventive maintenance, and alterations under the FAA Certificated Repair Station. Location: Van Nuys, CA. Compensation: $67.00–$73.00 per hour; Sign On Bonus: $3,500.00. Eligible for comprehensive benefits.

The role requires extensive avionics expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage projects within schedule and budget while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Airframe Certificate required.
• 8+ years in avionics installations on business jets.
• 1 year of continuous Lead Technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise avionics installation projects and troubleshoot as required.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Manage installation pre-planning, manpower allocation, and system check-out.
• Ensure work is completed on schedule and within labor/material costs.
• Provide comprehensive shift turnover for maximum efficiency.
• Travel and on-call support as required.
