Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Lead Avionics Install Technician in Cahokia Heights, IL.

You will lead a team of technicians, oversee installation projects, troubleshoot complex aircraft systems, and ensure safety and quality in every task. The role requires 8+ years in avionics installation and 2+ years of corporate aircraft experience, with strong English communication, and the ability to work independently on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years prior experience on aircraft avionics system installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• 2+ years of corporate aircraft experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Corridor systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical, electronic, and instrument systems; ability to troubleshoot and repair.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians to produce timely, high‑quality results and supervise project flow.
• Coordinate work flow for projects and process work orders, FAA paperwork, and pricing to customers.
• Provide ground test and flight test support as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and team; supervise multiple projects and mentor staff.
