Job summary
West Star Aviation is seeking a Lead Avionics Install Technician for the East Alton, IL location. You will lead technicians to deliver high-quality avionics installations, perform troubleshooting, inspections and project coordination while maintaining FAA compliance.
The role requires strong knowledge of aircraft electrical, electronic, and instrument systems, with experience supervising multiple projects and direct customer contact. On-site with weekend availability is expected.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of avionics installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- 2+ years of corporate aircraft experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Corridor systems is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Electrical tech school.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate installation projects, including parts and services.
- Troubleshoot and evaluate systems on the aircraft before and after modification.
- Inspect aircraft and components when required.
- Coordinate work flow and project management for multiple tasks.
