Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Lead Avionics Repair Technician in East Alton, IL to lead a team of technicians in delivering high-quality avionics work.

The role requires strong knowledge of aircraft electrical, electronic, and instrument systems with the ability to troubleshoot and repair those systems. You will supervise the team, manage project flow, and handle work orders and FAA forms for timely return-to-service.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of aircraft maintenance/avionics experience, supervising 4+ technicians
• Strong knowledge of FAA paperwork and work orders
• Experience leading multiple projects and coordinating schedules
• Ability to train/mentor technicians and ensure on-time delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians to deliver high-quality avionics work
• Supervise project flow and coordinate interdepartmental schedules
• Process work orders and FAA paperwork for return-to-service
