Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking an experienced EMC Compliance Engineer to lead EMI/EMC and Environmental Compliance testing for avionics products. The candidate will drive DO-160G testing, troubleshoot failures, and coordinate certification with regulatory bodies.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years in avionics EMI/EMC testing, with strong DO-160G experience and certification processes. On-site role in California with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on EMC/EMI and Environmental Compliance testing experience.
• Avionics industry experience required.
• Strong experience with RTCA DO-160G EMI/EMC and Environmental testing.
• Experience performing compliance testing, troubleshooting, and qualification activities.
• Experience with Safety Compliance testing.
• Understanding of certification and regulatory submission processes, including FCC.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute RTCA DO-160G compliance testing for avionics products.
• Perform and support EMI/EMC, Environmental, and Safety Compliance testing.
• Analyze test failures, perform root cause investigations, and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate and support product qualification and certification activities.
• Prepare test documentation, compliance reports, and certification packages.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure designs meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Support submissions and interactions with regulatory and certification bodies, including FCC and other relevant agencies.
