Salient Motion is seeking an experienced engineer focused on electrical qualification for power electronics. In Torrance, CA, this role involves executing and analyzing EMI/EMC tests and managing testing schedules with customers and outsourced labs.

Candidates need at least a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience. The position offers competitive compensation, including a salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 along with exceptional healthcare benefits and flexible PTO.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of qualification or environmental test experience on aerospace, defense, or comparable hardware.
• Hands-on experience executing DO-160 and/or MIL-STD-810 electrical and EMI/EMC test campaigns.
• Strong technical writing skills for test plans and reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan, write, and execute electrical qualification test procedures.
• Develop test plans and reports to DO-160G and MIL-STD-810H.
• Execute and analyze EMI/EMC testing.
