Job summary

Daisy is seeking an experienced Technician or Lead Technician for our Potomac branch serving Montgomery County, Northern Virginia, DC and the broader metro DC area. You will install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot low‑voltage integrated systems and serve as the on‑site contact for clients.

You’ll mentor junior technicians, work with Control4, Savant and Crestron platforms, and collaborate with designers and architects.

Qualifications

3–5 years hands-on AV, networking and smart home tech.
Mastery of basic wiring for low-voltage systems.
Programming, calibration, testing and troubleshooting.
Certs (CEDIA, AVIXA) preferred.
Electrician license preferred.
Valid driver’s license and background check.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, service, and troubleshoot AV, networking, lighting, shading, control, and other home automation systems.
Interpret blueprints and schematics to execute installations accurately.
Site setup, rack builds, cabling and terminations, and final client acceptance.
Maintain remote access, monitoring and service protocols for deployed systems.
Act as on-site contact for clients, designers, builders and architects.
Ensure clean, code-compliant, high-performance installations.
Stay up to date on smart home trends and new integrations.
Mentor and lead junior technicians as needed.
Maintain company vehicle and tools in good condition.
