Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Installation Technician 2 in Denver, CO to perform installation tasks on contracted projects, including cable pulls, terminations, rack fabrication, and system wiring. You may lead on smaller projects by coordinating with the Project Manager to meet time, scope, budget, quality, and safety requirements.

The role requires strong communication, AV knowledge, and hands-on skills with low-voltage cabling, project leadership, and the ability to travel to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of audiovisual installation experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Strong communication and customer-satisfaction focus.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation tasks and client training per project scope.
• Lead Level 1 Technicians and oversee quality of work.
• Read and interpret system schematics and blueprints.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble/terminate equipment.
• Test point-to-point cabling and system functionality.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and report daily site status.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
• Support additional tasks to meet project priorities.
