Job summary

Glydways in Atlanta, GA seeks a Lead Autonomous Vehicle Engineering Technician to lead technician teams, build and maintain test platforms, and ensure safe, efficient execution of engineering requirements.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate workloads, and work closely with engineering to translate requirements into hands-on solutions. This is an in-person 1-year contract starting with training in Richmond, CA.

Qualifications

• Lead, coordinate, and provide technical direction to technicians.
• Ability to review completed work for quality against drawings and procedures.
• Experience with lab tools and hardware integration.
• Strong communication with engineering and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technical activities of technicians and test platforms.
• Coordinate workloads, priorities, and track tasks through completion.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting guidance and mentorship.
• Be primary liaison between technicians and engineering for execution and escalation.
• Maintain configuration control of test platforms and hardware.
• Assemble hardware for Hardware-in-the-Loop testing and integrate components.
• Diagnose, repair, and prevent recurrence of hardware issues.
