Job summary

Diode Dynamics in St. Charles, Missouri, is seeking an Engineering Validation Manager to lead validation activities for automotive LED lighting.

You will own the Design Validation Plan (DVP) from early product development, ensure drawings reference test standards, and manage end-to-end validation in our in-house lab and with external labs as needed. You will drive ISO 17025 certification and collaborate with Design Engineering to deliver validated, reliable products for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, or related Engineering field.
• 5+ years in product validation, test engineering, or lab management.
• Strong knowledge of automotive validation processes including environmental, photometric, electrical performance, and EMI/EMC.

Responsibilities

• Lead validation for new and existing products, covering environmental, photometric, and EMI/EMC performance.
• Manage in-house Validation Lab including equipment maintenance, calibration, and day-to-day operations.
• Plan, execute, and oversee validation testing of prototypes and production samples according to the DVP and applicable standards.
