Job summary

Search Masters, Inc. is seeking a mechanical design professional to lead the development of next‑generation vehicle lighting solutions for major OEM customers.

You will design and prototype mechanical components for lighting products from concept through production, managing the full lifecycle and guiding customers through quotes from start to finish. You will collaborate with electrical and optical engineers to ensure successful product launches, perform GD&T analysis and tolerance stack‑ups,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in design, preferably in automotive lighting or electro/mechanical products.
• BS Degree in Engineering required — preference for Mechanical Engineering (ME), MET, or Plastics Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, prototyping, and launch of next‑generation vehicle lighting solutions for major OEM customers.
• Design and develop mechanical components for advanced lighting products from concept through production.
• Manage the full design project lifecycle, guiding customers through the quoting process from start to finish.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical and optical design engineers to drive products through successful launch.
