Job summary

Diode Dynamics LLC. in St. Charles, Missouri, seeks an Engineering Validation Manager to lead all validation activities for automotive LED lighting products.

You will own the Design Validation Plan from early development and drive ISO 17025 accreditation in our in-house lab. You will manage the Test Engineering team, coordinate external labs when needed, and collaborate with Design Engineering to ensure robust validation, documentation, and compliance across SAE/DOT/ECE/ISO standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, or related Engineering field.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead early involvement in new product projects: establish and approve the Design Validation Plan (DVP).
• Own design validation and production validation activities for new and existing products.
• Manage the in-house Validation Lab, including calibration, testing, and documentation.
• Drive ISO 17025 certification and maintain quality systems and procedures.
• Plan and oversee prototype, first articles, and production test programs per standards.
• Coordinate external labs when needed and manage vendor relationships.
