Job summary

Alten USA is seeking a Lead Software Test Infrastructure Engineer to design, develop, and scale automated test frameworks and tools for automotive firmware and applications. You will mentor engineers, drive CI/CD integration, and guide testing strategies across hardware (HIL) and software (SIL) test assets.

The role requires strong embedded software testing experience, proficiency in Python and Rust, and a strategic mindset to build scalable, self-service testing infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Mechatronics/EE or CS.
• 5+ years in software testing, preferably embedded systems.
• Strong Python and Rust, with Pytest and advanced config knowledge.
• Strategic vision to lead test infra and CI/CD integration.
• Deep understanding of test automation, CI/CD, and enterprise tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of scalable V&V test infrastructure.
• Develop scalable test frameworks in Python with CI/CD and HIL/SIL.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical direction.
• Collaborate with developers, V&V/QA, TPMS, and product teams.
