Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, guiding a team to improve customer care. You will mentor technicians, maintain ASE credentials, and stay updated with evolving auto tech while delivering high-quality repairs.

The role offers a pay range reflecting regional rates, with a strong emphasis on training, certifications, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• ASE certification in at least 3 of A1-A8 (L1 can be one of the three).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brakes, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Attend and pass ASE tests; company covers fees.
