Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Hinsdale, IL is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while using leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction. Pay ranges reflect flat-rate productivity and regional variation.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Brake diagnosis/repair skills essential.
• Alignment and suspension diagnosis/repair skills needed.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair experience.
• Reading, writing and math skills required.
• Current federal/state/local certifications where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brake, hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, suspension and other systems.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to non-technical customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Work toward ASE certifications within two years.
