Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician in Florida to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while mentoring a team to boost customer care. The pay range is $22.90–$42.36 per hour with flat-rate incentives reflecting regional productivity.

The position requires ASE certifications and a valid driver's license, plus ongoing training and eligibility for certifications within two years.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least five of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment.
